It is just what i needed. Its simple, doesn't contain a lot unnecessary information and gives me a leg to stand on if my IP it trying to rip me off.

This is easy to set up and use. A very good tool for finding out what apps are using the internet bandwidth.

After noticing that my computer was uploading huge amounts of information thanks to Netlimiter 2 I was able to identify what program was sending it and deal to it. This program shows what software is online/offline. It also records the statistics of how much each program uploads and downloads and in what zone, My Computer/Local Network or Internet. Netlimiter 2 helps me to keep an eye on what is going on under the hood.

I'm trying out NetLimiter to monitor suspect uploading activity, and it specifies just how much bandwidth each program is using at a given time, including system elements. Of course it does mean I have to be watching it at the time when the uploads are building up to the point where they crash my router if I want to know what's causing the trouble, but it certainly seems to give the information is a clear way.

I got exactly what I was looking for. I can see a list of processes and all internet sessions opened along with the size of traffic going through each session.

As the administrator of a non profit organization (Music for the Unemployed) I didn't have the funds to buy your full version software. I tried the free version and it installed and works well. I quickly identified some applications using my bandwidth like Spyware or Malware, the file location (Path) was provided, and was therefore able to remove them. I like the simplicity and low resource usage. This is important to me considering my donated computer is not state of the art. My OS is Windows XP Pro.

Worked as advertised

This app is simple, easy to use and does exactly what I needed it to do, which was to find the application that was sucking huge amounts of bandwidth. It tracks ALL the applications, running or not, hidden or not, and provides a per-app throughput & total upload & download for each. It gives you an active throughput monitor and a cumulative graph. Results can be shown in various denominators. Nice interface, history options, and just enough detail to be helpful. In our area it's $30/GB up and down, so every MB counts. Great job!

Nice Product

Very nice product for its small size and free license. Minor bug: when running the app with desktop shortcut, the icon in the system tray doubles.

Netlimiter 2

It seems like a good upgrade from Netlimiter 1. It's easy to use and gives me the data I want.
My purpose for this program was to see how much traffic it was on a server. We had some problems with the speed.
I used Netlimiter to lokate which service/process that used all the speed.
